Pleased with the speakers
The speakers were used in our garden during a party and the sound was great. The only thing I do not like is the volume controls on the speakers. Every time the CD player was turned off the speakers also go off and each have to be turned back on and the volume reset the next time the CD player or radio is turned back on.
Great speakers
I purchased these speakers as a gift for my mom to place around her new pool she had installed. I have to say that they are a quality speaker. I did a distance test on them. I left the receiver in my room inside the house and carried the speaker downstairs and outside to about 60-70 ft away. The signal was passing through multiple walls and still sounded good. If you get to far away the sound starts to get scratchy and static. The sound is loud enough also I probably could have been good getting just one for the pool but with two we get a nice surround sound. This product is worth the money
Cables Unlimited Wireless SPK-ROCK DUO
I was pretty excited when I ordered these and then had to wait for a couple of months+ to finally get my hands on them. When I first cranked them on, they sounded OK and since they are outside hidden amongst the rocks surrounding my Koi pond, sound quality was not the most important feature. The problem came the next time I introduced a music source and I had to physically go to each speaker and turn it back on and raise the volume! Boooo, hissss! Who in this day and age would not include a remote control to perform this function, especially for wireless and remotely operated devices. These are premium speakers…you pay a lot of money for something you have to manually turn on and adjust the volume when they are always 100′-150′ away! I called Cables Unlimited and they indicated a remote is included for all of their lesser priced wireless speakers but it is not compatible with these newly released rock speakers. At this point NOT A FAN of the Cables Unlimited Wireless SPK-ROCK DUO. Save your money unless you need the exercise!

The speakers work as advertised but the sound quality if much less than I would have expected for the price.
