Too Expensive for a Distortion Prone Speaker
The first impression is that yes, it is loud but it also distorts all sort of frequencies at the same time. It does not have a good amplifier. The lower frequencies are completely distorted. The higher frequencies fair much better. Depending on which song you play you may get a nice result or an unbearable sound. I do not recommend this to younger generations because we all like our bass in our music to sound good. The only thing this speaker is good for is for human voice, like talk radio or a podcast. Do not use it to play music at a party, you will be sorry.
As far as the structural design, it does not have an iPod dock, this is not made clear in the box. That’s fine, but it also means you can’t charge the iPod while you play music. Also the iPod tends to fall out when you press the buttons or move the speakers.
The price is to high for a voice only speaker, so I will return mine tomorrow.
