Klipsch RB-10 4-Inch Two-Way Bookshelf Loudspeaker (pair)
| Overall rating: |
|

As the smallest bookshelf loudspeaker Klipsch has ever made, the RB-10 employs a 4-inch woofer and a 1-inch titanium-dome compression driver loaded with a 4-inch square Tractrix(R) Horn for maximum clarity and efficiency. The woofer on the RB-10 still features Klipsch’s distinctive, copper-colored Cerametallic(TM) material. Made with an anodized aluminum, this cone is strong and dent resistant. The anodizing process converts its inner and out surface to ceramic. The outcome is a rigid cone with superb damping characteristics that will not flex or resonate at frequencies within the woofer’s operating range. As in all Reference Series speakers, the RB-10 crossover network is constructed using extremely high-quality components including top-of-the-line internal wiring, polyester film-type capacitors and an air-core inductor to ensure signal purity and proper driver integration. The RB-10 has both a back-panel keyhole for on-wall mounting and a threaded insert for attachment to popular adjustable wall and ceiling brackets. Available in a black vinyl finish, the RB-10 features a low-diffraction sculpted baffle and magnetically attached grille for an elegant fit and finish. This bookshelf model may be small, but it carries a huge dynamic presence that is sure to blow audiences away.

Great bookshelf speakers
These are great bookshelf speakers. The speakers are very well made. The removable grill is on the speaker with magnets and is very easy to remove. The audio reproduction is very clear and better then any bookshelf speaker I have owned. The speakers are very efficient and require little volume to get full sound. Each one comes with four rubber feet to put under the speaker. The Klipsch Reference series is not like the Klipsch Synergy series. The reference series are mid to high end home entertainment speakers that you have to get through an authorized dealer.
Excellent value!
I was looking for a compact speaker system to pair with a TV in a small room. I had an old stereo receiver sitting around so I decided to look around for two bookshelf speakers that met my size and sound needs.
After demoing, and disliking, a handful of speakers I came across these at a local electronics store. The first thing I noticed is how big they sounded compared to everything else I had tried. They are a little bit bigger and ‘boxier’ than I had wanted, but they were the smallest thing I could find that sounded full without a subwoofer behind them. I snatched them up, set them up, and have enjoyed them greatly at home.
Pros:
-Very efficient (doesn’t take a lot of power to drive them)
-Sound like bigger speakers than they are
-Small enough to be mounted
-They’re very reasonably priced
-Magnetic speaker grills, come with ‘rubber feet’ if you’re not mounting them, have mounting holes pre-drilled.
Cons:
-A bit heavy on the bass end without equalization
-Not banana-plug friendly
High value
These small bookshelf speaker perform excellently as front surround speakers with our 52″ flat panel HDTV in a medium size room. Would have preferred them in white color to blend into the bookshelf, but their small size make them unobtrusive. Quality, solid performing product.
