Awesome speakers at an incredible price!
Contrary to the info on the product description, these are 8 ohm speakers intended for use with your average home stereo. They are not intended for use on 70 volt systems and there is no switchable tap. I bought one set to use in my bathroom and I was astounded by the sound quality! They sound great and they can pump out the bass! My first set came directly from Outdoor Speaker Depot. I decided to by a second set, and I noticed that I could get them from OSD through Amazon for the same price. So I bought my second set through Amazon. These became my new left and right surround speakers, replacing some Boston Acoustics 110’s. The BA’s became my rear surrounds so now I have 7.1 in the living room. Yes, the OSD’s easily out-perform the BA’s! These speakers are a great deal for the price. Go to the OSD site and look them up. There are 36 reviews and every one is a 5 star! Nobody has ever bought these speakers and given only 4 stars. They are that good. Remember, you are buyng a pair of speakers…you can’t buy just one. They are bigger than you might suspect and they are rather heavy. As with most really good speakers, they need a couple of days to “loosen up”. Once they burn in, you will want to post your own 5 star review. They are probably the best speakers in the world at this price range.
